BioServe President Featured in GEN Magazine

Our president, Rama Modali is featured in the February 1st issue of Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News (GEN). The article, entitled "Dislodging Personalized Medicine Logjams," can be found here:

Of course, we're biased. But, we believe the article presents a compelling case for the use of high-quality, well-annotated biospecimens. In fact, we believe access to such material will emerge as a key bottleneck to the full realization of the promise and potential of "personalized medcine."

One final note: the feedback for Rama's article wasn't 100% positive. In fact, I gave him a hard time about it because I've been trying to get him to contribute to the BioServe blog for quite some time now - with no luck. And, yet, when GEN calls, he's happy to whip out his pen...
