Genotyping

Our in-house expertise in assay design, oligonucleotide synthesis and SNP validation enable us to deliver accurate data, quickly and cost-effectively. We specialize in smaller to mid-size projects, providing intense customer service from assay design to data delivery and discussing your experiment results.

DNA and RNA Extraction

We have 15 years of experience with genomic DNA and RNA isolation from nearly all biomaterials.  Samples are quantitated by optical density.  Quality of DNA is determined through electrophoresis.  RNA quality control checks are performed through Agilent's Bioanalyzer.  Extraction kits are available through our Research Tools division.

Sequencing

Custom DNA sequencing is provided utilizing the Beckman CEQ™ 8000 Genetic Analysis System and the GE Healthcare MegaBACE™ 1000 DNA Analysis System.

DNA Synthesis

BioServe utilizes ABI® 394 synthesizer from Applied Biosystems Division of the Perkin-Elmer Corporation, to meet the challenge of synthesizing quality oligonucleotides at a reasonable price.
