High Quality Total RNA Isolated from Fresh Frozen Human TissueBioServe's OncoRNA are derived from fresh frozen, fully annotated high quality tumors and adjacent normal tissues from BioServe's Global Repository. BioServe has initially focused on colon, lung, breast, ovarian, and GI cancers but plans to expand the product line into other tumors. These samples are ideally suited for miRNA profiling, gene expression, RT-PCR, array analysis, Northern analysis, RPA and cDNA library construction. This clinical biomaterial is delivered with comprehensive demographic and clinical information, including family history, diagnostic, and treatment data. Cancer Tissue and RNA HandlingToday's sophisticated analysis techniques require the highest quality total RNA. BioServe has nearly 20 years experience processing and storing nucleic acids. Over the years, BioServe has developed and validated hundreds of protocols for the isolation of high quality nucleic acid from various starting material.

RNA Isolation Procedure:
Using the high quality RNA samples from BioServe, we were able to identify novel microRNA sequences that could potentially be involved in the generation of new tumor tissues, particularly in colorectal cancer...If more stringently validated, these disease-related miRNAs may eventually serve as targets for diagnostic or therapeutic development.
