OncoRNA
High Quality Total RNA Isolated from Fresh Frozen Human Tissue

Our OncoRNA samples are derived from fresh frozen, fully annotated high quality tumors and adjacent normal tissues from BioServe's Global BioRepository.
Our initial focus is in colon, lung, breast, ovarian, and gastro-intestinal cancers but plan to expand the product line into other tumors.
These samples are ideally suited for miRNA profiling, gene expression, RT-PCR, array analysis, Northern analysis, RPA and cDNA library construction.
This clinical biomaterial is delivered with comprehensive demographic and clinical information, including family history, diagnostic, and treatment data.
Today's sophisticated analysis techniques require the highest quality total RNA. BioServe has nearly 20 years experience processing and storing nucleic acids. We've developed and validated hundreds of protocols for the isolation of high quality nucleic acid from various starting material. All are available through our preclinical molecular service division.

"Using the high quality RNA samples from BioServe, we were able to identify novel microRNA sequences that could potentially be involved in the generation of new tumor tissues, particularly in colorectal cancer...If more stringently validated, these disease-related miRNAs may eventually serve as targets for diagnostic or therapeutic development."
